Exploratory tracks
It's important to declare your major as soon as possible. If you're not ready to make that decision right away, though, exploratory tracks can help you narrow your focus. With exploratory tracks, you can:
- Receive advising support while exploring different majors across a number of academic fields.
- Satisfy general education requirements while taking focused courses in a subject area that appeals to you.
Each track is limited to 30-45 credit hours, after which you must declare a major. Be sure to meet with an advisor before switching to a different exploratory track.
