Transfer Merit Scholarships
Awards for incoming transfer students
WSU offers various merit scholarships to qualified incoming transfer students who have not yet completed a bachelor's degree. If you want to be considered for a merit scholarship, be sure to complete your admission application by the appropriate deadline, depending on the semester in which you plan to start classes.
For maximum scholarship consideration, incoming students must complete the undergraduate admission application (including submission of all transcripts) by:
- Fall 2024 semester: June 1, 2024
- Winter 2025 semester: October 1, 2024
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for all available funding.
Credits can be earned at one or more colleges or universities, but the combined cumulative college GPA must meet set requirements. We will calculate a GPA from all colleges and universities attended to determine if you meet these minimum eligibility requirements by the scholarship deadline:
- A minimum of 30 transferable credits
- A minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.25
You may receive only one merit award. The sum of all aid received cannot exceed the student's financial aid cost of attendance (COA).
