Post-bachelor information
Post-baccalaureate students
Sometimes students need to take pre-med coursework after completing a bachelor's degree. There are two common reasons. First, the student does not have a competitive grade point average to apply to medical school during the undergraduate years. Second, the student is missing prerequisite courses because they changed professional goals at some point. In both cases, the student will benefit from post-graduate academic work. These candidates are frequently called "post-bac", meaning that they are continuing to take undergraduate courses after earning their bachelor's degree.
